CRAFTMANSHIP & STORY
Croí Meala - derived from the Irish phrase meaning “a heart of honey” - is built upon traditional, rhythmic jewellery-making techniques that honour the land. Rather than leaning on rapid mass production, each piece is individually crafted to order by Treen in her countryside studio, following a slower, deliberate pace of design.
Treen balances rigorous technical expertise from the Royal College of Art with an organic, intuitive approach to metallurgy. She works exclusively with recycled 925 sterling silver and 9ct gold, often melting down and casting metals using highly conscious studio practices. From non-toxic, food-grade biodegradable pickling solutions to post-consumer and riverbed-harvested gemstones, every material is handled with extreme care for animal welfare and environmental impact.
The result is a collection where art, history, and folklore intermingle - grounded, high-quality pieces that carry the distinct character of the maker's hands and the stories of the landscape they were born from.
