Two bead sizes introduce a subtle tension in scale: 224 stones assembled one by one, without shortcuts.
Each necklace is made to order, crafted entirely by hand in The Knot's Atelier in London. Finished with a simple, functional clasp in rhodium-plated brass.

Hematite’s metallic, mirror-like surface gives the piece clarity and weight, condensed into a tighter, more concentrated rhythm. Natural tonal and textural shifts are inherent to the stones and enrich each piece. Variations can occur from one necklace to another.

THE ART OF HAND-KNOTTING
At THE KNOT, every necklace is a study in tension and structure. Unlike mass-produced jewellery, these pieces are hand-knotted using pure silk thread. This traditional technique involves tying a tiny, precise knot between every single bead.
Not only does this allow the necklace to drape beautifully against the body with a fluid, textile-like quality - but it also ensures the stones never rub against each other, preserving their natural polish for years to come. It is a slow, meditative process that ensures no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
